This is a very informative piece. I have been writing short stories, but have had to give them away for close to nothing. Writing a full-length novel is certainly something to aspire towards. Do you have any tips — or methods — for maintaining consistency across a series of novels? Most of those I read start off well and then the quality goes downhill.
